Now that the recipient has his hat I can post about it. Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick. CO 72 with US10 16″ circs, do K2P2 in the round for about 9″, then decrease.
Decreasing rnds:
Rnd 1: [k6, k2tog] to end
Rnd 2: k all sts
Rnd 3: [k5, k2tog] to end
Rnd 4: k all sts
Rnd 5: [k4, k2tog] to end
Rnd 6: k all sts
Rnd 7: [k3, k2tog] to end
Rnd 8: k all sts
Rnd 9: [k2, k2tog] to end
Rnd 10: k all sts
Rnd 11: [k, k2tog] to end
Rnd 12: k all sts
Rnd 13: [k2tog] to end
Easy peasy. I have another hat in the works for someone I met while working on this hat at my job on campus. (I knit while I sit in the computer labs and get paid 7.24$ to do so. It’s nice.) I’m doing the same thing but with a different color. For this new hat I have been paid in 100 bags of Kenyan tea, curry spice, and mussala. I can’t wait to use all of those things.
The baby blanket is about halfway completed, and I bought some yarn yesterday from Knitche in Downers Grove, IL. I’ll do a yarn pr0n post in the very near future.
